OHFG

We're thinking of a new feature on the blog, called OHFG (Overheard From Gabe). Here's the first installment, and let us know what you think. Let's set the scene: Gabe is eating all sorts of new things (here, carrot tomato mush, Thursday in school was Avocado and Banana mush), an Gabe is, well, hesitant to try new things. Rather than making a big deal out of Gabe's eating, we have been heaping the praise on Jonah for being such a good eater and trying all sorts of new things.
Gabe: "Mom, you're going to be so proud of me. I tried something new!"
Mom: "That's great Gabe. What?"
Gabe: "I dipped my [Pirate's] Booty in cream cheese!"
Oh well, maybe some day he'll surprise us all and become a chef.
