Oct. 30 - Nov. 1: This was quite a weekend. We had super-fun visits from many of our favorite people. First to hit the Big Apple was mom's best friend from college, Meryl. She came to town to run the NYC Marathon. Plus, we got to have a little time to hang out with her, which was really fun.
She's a doctor in real life, and brought us this fun doctor kit. Luckily she showed the boys how to use it too. Then Uncle Benjamin and Aunt Rachel got to town! It was so fun having everyone there to play with. And they brought some cool stuff from Atlanta, including a Hawks t-shirt!

Plus, it was Halloween AND a Gator football weekend. As you can see, Gabe was a lion just like Alex from Madagascar, and Jonah was a dragon, just like the dragon in Shrek, except not purple and not a girl. Oh, and Aunt Rachel is a pumpkin. The morning started with a fun Brooklyn Heights tradition: the Halloween parade!

Then it was Gators time, which could only be interrupted for a little trick-or-treating. Gabe cleaned up, and Jonah even got his first candy!

All in all, it was a great weekend. So much fun (as usual) with Uncle Benj and Aunt Rachel. Plus, we were so excited for Meryl, who did really great in her marathon. And it was especially fun for Mom to get to hang out with her on Sunday!
