We heard about this beach/park from some friends, but it turns out both grandmas came here when they were kids. Today was a beautiful day, so we hopped in the car and, with our friends the Gessers, hit the beach. We can't believe we have such a great and fun beach only a half hour away. There was kite flying, sand castle building, snack eating, and lots of jumping in the waves. We will definitely be back.
