November 1-2: This weekend Uncle Benj and Aunt Rachel came to visit! We had such a great time. On Saturday Uncle Seth and Aunt Linnea came to Brooklyn and we all had a yummy brunch together. Then it was time for the Florida-Georgia game. We were a bit nervous because we had TWO Georgia fans in the house (well, Aunt Rachel doesn't really count, but still), but the Gators really did great. Jonah loved his new Gator shirt, and Gabe was pretty happy to cheer for Tim Tebow. He was also glad that Aunt Rachel and her friend Phyllis took him to the playground for a while. A huge thanks to Alexa and Matt for their sous-chef and assistant contractor/railroad planning efforts as well. Gabe, today, wondered when you both were coming back!
Then, on Sunday, we braved the wind and cold to head to Cadman Plaza for a bit of a soccer showdown between Gabe and Uncle Benj, and then pancakes for lunch (YUM!). It was a really great visit, and we can't wait to see them again soon in Atlanta (which Gabe now understands is where Clayton lives all the time, except when he's on vacation).
Oh, Gabe and Jonah got some awesome gifts this weekend. In particular, check out Gabe's awesome cowboy hat (he's wearing it in the bottom picture), and also Jonah's "boots"!!
