The Paul Shanoff Centenial

This July, we went to Chicago to celebrate what would have been Grandpa's dad's 100th birthday. All the Shanoff Aunts and Uncles were there too, and it was a great visit.

We started the trip with Gabe's first MLB game. One of dad's friends took us down on the field at Wrigley, and then, of course, there was the cotton candy.


And no trip to Wrigley is complete without a picture in front of the sign!

The next day meant the boys' first trip to the Pancake House. mmmmmm.


Then we were off for a tour of some of Paul Shanoff's old haunts. It was great.


After the tour, there was plenty of time to check out Michigan Avenue and the Lake. It was an awfully hot day so we were really happy to have some time in the water! That lemon ice didn't hurt either.




And, of course, no trip to Chicago would be complete without a pizza from Giardulo's!


The next day we hit the Shedd Aquarium. That place is amazing! Then it was a quick visit with some friends in Evanston, and back home to NY. For lots more pictures, click here.
