Today was also Gabe's first day of soccer. He LOVED it. It was pretty tough for us to get him out of the house in only one of the pieces of his awesome Barca uniform from Uncle Benj and Aunt Rachel, but we convinced him that wearing the whole thing might be a little much for his first day. He did, however, wear the shorts, and they worked! His class is for kids just the same age as him, and they do lots of singing, jumping and kicking. They even did a real drill, where the kids jumped over the cones and kicked the ball into the goal. Gabe liked it so much he went twice! They're still working on the whole no-hands-in-soccer thing, but we figure he'll get it soon enough. For now, it is just so fun to see him enjoying it so much. Oh, and in case you can't tell, he's the one in the black shirt (he'll have his official red "jersey" on next week!).
