After Atlanta, everyone but dad headed off with Suzki and Pops to Gainesville, where we enjoyed some seriously fabulous weather and lots of good times! Jonah made his first trip to Suzki and Pops' house, and Gabe was ready to show him the ropes, but was very clear that Jonah was too little to ride the amazing Big Wheel bike! Jonah was also clearly too little to help build it, but Gabe was ready with the hammer (though a bit unhappy about the noise it made).
When dad got to town from Denver we went to The Swamp a few times too - once with Gabe and Jonah (it was Jonah's first time, but he sure seemed at home there!), and once just mom and dad. We even got to go down and run around on the field; Gabe was pretty bummed that he missed that part.
We also saw some old friends, who were thrilled to meet Jonah and to see Gabe. Plus, Gabe and his cousin Charlie had some serious fun playing the piano and jumping on Suzki and Pops' bed. Too bad they were only pretending to sleep, though. We can't wait to go back for our next visit!
